Sports Studies

Brooke Murphy is a member of the UNH Cat Crew marketing internship, which prepares students for sports marketing and management careers after graduation.

Murphy has openly stated in several interviews that her goal in her senior season isn’t to break records, but to do anything in her power to make sure her teammates experience the joy she felt when UNH won the America East Title her freshman season. She played through adversity and hardship, coming from a small town that in 2011 was ravaged by tornadoes, destroying 77 structures, including residential homes.

Murphy has worked soup nights at her local church, helping set up and clean up. She rang the collection bell for Salvation Army during winter breaks and volunteered at many youth soccer camps as a trainer.

Murphy entered the 2017 season 6 goals and 15 points shy of the schools’ all-time records, and she is on pace to break both this season. She is a two-time America East Striker of the Year, five-time America East Player of the Week, and an All-Tournament and All-Rookie Team honoree from her freshman season.
