For the past two years, Chick has been named an Academic All-Big Ten honoree. He has also been named to the Nebraska Student-Athlete Honor Roll in four semesters.
Character
Chick has demonstrated his character by his involvement in numerous initiatives at Nebraska.
He has participated in N-Volved, the Minority Student-Athlete Collective Rally, and the Diversity & Inclusion Summit. Chick was also an Inner Circle Member in 2019-20.
Community
While at Nebraska, Chick has volunteered with multiple events. He has been involved in the Women’s History Month Panel, Walk for Down Syndrome, First Friday at the Sheldon, and with Red Cross, Prescott Elementary School, and Husker Heroes.
For his work in the community, Chick has been named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team twice.
Competition
Chick is a two-year letter winner at Nebraska.
He has also garnered conference recognition, earning a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team and All-Big Ten second team in 2019.
