Classroom

Morgan possesses a 3.80 GPA as a criminal justice major. She has earned ESPN the Magazine/College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-America honors. She has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll the last two seasons and has been on the Alabama Dean’s List all three years. She also belonged to the National Honor Society as a freshman.

Character

A leader for the Crimson Tide on and off the field, Morgan has played the last two seasons with a severe foot injury that required multiple surgeries. After two years in a boot and on restricted practice, she was able to come back and earn back-to-back All-American honors.

Community

Morgan has played an important role in the team’s community service initiative. She has visited numerous local teams and tournaments to talk about the importance of school, teamwork, and sports. She is involved with the Alabama Halloween Extravaganza, Project Angel Tree, food drive for the West Alabama Food Bank, and visits local elementary schools and retirement homes.

Competition

Morgan earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association first-team All-American honors the last two seasons. She became the first Alabama softball player to be named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year. She garnered SEC first team honors the last two seasons and second team honors as a freshman. Morgan set an SEC single season record with 79 RBIs. She became the first Alabama player with three seasons of 50-plus RBIs. Her 190 career RBIs is only one shy of the Alabama record held by All-American and former Team USA member Kelly Kretschman. She has batted more than .350 in all three of her seasons, including back-to-back years of plus-.400 batting average. She has also posted a sub 2.30 ERA each year.
