Classroom

Chloe Williams is majoring in exercise science with the career goal of becoming a nurse. She is a three-time Big Sky All-Academic Team selection and a two-time Eastern Washington Scholar Athlete of the Month.

Character

Williams is a two-time team captain. Head Coach Chad Bodnar says, “The nice thing about Chloe is that she doesn’t really like the attention or spotlight, but it is going to always shine on her because she’s a good player. Chloe is a total team-first person, she’s been a great leader in her four years and a big part of making our program grow.”

On September 15, Williams broke the Big Sky Conference’s all-time career points record with her 35th career goal. She then scored two minutes later to become the first Big Sky player to eclipse 90 career points, bringing her total to 91 points. She is now tied for second on the Big Sky’s career scoring list with 36 goals. Coach Bodnar said this regarding her record: “She doesn’t pay attention to the records, and honestly she’s a kid that doesn’t care about that stuff. She cares about helping her team win, not about the individual things. That’s a credit to her because she’s a great kid, she always works hard. Everything she’s done she’s earned, and her teammates have set her up for a lot of those goals and putting her in situations to score those goals.”

Community

Williams helped Eastern Washington student-athletes log more than 6,550 hours of community service in 2016-17. She was an Eagle Week speaker at local high schools to educate students on the importance of education. She has also served as a Special Olympics and Spokane Veterans Association volunteer.

Competition

Williams is first all-time in the Big Sky Conference in total points (91). She is EWU’s all-time goals, assists, points, shots and shots on goal leader. She was selected to the USWNT U-23 training camp and to the NSCAA NCAA DI Women’s All-Pacific Region Team (2016). She is a two-time Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year (2015, 2016).
