Classroom

Courtney Dike is an outstanding student who carries a 3.848 grade-point average. She is working toward an accounting degree with a minor in Spanish and she already has begun work on a master’s degree in accounting. Dike is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree and she also has earned CoSIDA Academic All-District accolades. She has been named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll six times while also being on the Oklahoma State’s President’s Honor Roll three times and the Dean’s Honor Roll five times. She is a three-time OSU Academic Achievement Award winner and the co-founder of the Business Honors College Club at OSU.

Character

Dike has served as an Oklahoma State team captain each of the last two seasons. Her sportsmanship and character shine on and off the field in the classroom and the community.

Community

Dike is actively involved in the Stillwater community as well as in her hometown of Edmond. She works with the Oklahoma City Boys %26 Girls Club and has been involved with the Litter Blitz Trash Pickup. She is a long-time participant in annual Thanksgiving food drives and Thanksgiving dinner events. She also participates in the The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program and the Holiday Heroes Christmas Event.On the OSU campus Dike actively participates in Orange %26 Black Gives Back a community service organization made up of OSU student-athletes. She recently participated in a bird release program with OSU’s Avian Exotic and Zoological Service.

Competition

Dike is one of only seven players in OSU history to achieve all-conference status at least three times in a career as she was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team in each of her first three seasons. She is also a two-time NSCAA All-Central Region Third Team selection (2014 2015).Dike ranks seventh all time at OSU with 25 career goals eighth in shots (179) and is 10th in assists (15) and points (65). As a freshman she ranked second in the Big 12 with 13 goals and 30 points; the 13 goals tied for the fourth most in a single season in OSU history. Dike earned two caps at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup as a member of Nigeria. Her first-career cap came against Australia as a reserve and the second came when she started against the United States. In 2014 she played with the Nigerian National Team in the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada where she led team to the final and a runner-up finish. She tied for the team lead with three assists in 2014.
