Rettke graduated this May with a degree in business marketing. She was named Academic All-Big Ten three times.

She is currently a graduate student in leadership and policy analysis.

Character

Rettke is a member of Wisconsin’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

She has used her experience while training with the U.S. National Team in 2019 to aid her team.

Community

Since arriving at Wisconsin, Rettke has volunteered nearly 24 hours amongst a variety of organizations.

She has participated with the American Children’s Hospital, Wish Upon a Badger, Bookin’ it with Bucky, Badger Prom, Swish Upon aa Cure, Special Olympics, Randall Elementary Pen Pals, and Wisconsin Shoe Project.

Competition

Rettke is the first four-time first-team All-American in Wisconsin history - and only the sixth ever.

She has earned numerous other awards, as well. Rettke has been named the 2019-20 Big Ten Female Athlete of the Year, 2019 Big Ten Player of the Year, and 2017 National Freshman of the Year. Additionally, Rettke is a two-time AVCA Northeast Region Athlete of the Year, two-time AVCA National Player of the Week, nine-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week, and 11-time Big Ten Player of the Week.

She was also a finalist for the Honda Award twice (2019-2020), nominee for the Sullivan Award twice (2020-21), and was named to the 2019 NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team.

In 2019, Rettke trained with the U.S. National Team, winning a gold medal at the Volleyball Nations Cup.

She ranks in the top five in eight separate statistical categories at Wisconsin.
