One of the unofficial team captains as a senior, Delaney will begin her fourth year with the Bruins as the team’s starting shortstop.
Community
Spaulding has served her community in many ways, including through the following outlets: Mattel Children’s Hospital, Wilshire Girls Softball Camp, I’m Going to College (UCLA Football Games), Beverly Hills Elementary School (where she did PE with 6th-8th graders), Veterans Volunteer Baseball Game and UCLA and outside softball camps.
Competition
Spaulding is a two-time member of the U.S. Women’s National Team, two-time NFCA Second Team All-American, three-time NFCA All-Region where out of the three times she was named first-team twice. She also is a three-time All-Pac-12 honoree with two first-team honors. Spaulding led the team in RBI as a sophomore and junior, and also led the team in homers as a junior and tied for the team lead as a sophomore. Spaulding was also tied for 23rd in the nation in homers and RBI as a junior.
