Dominic Keegan

Communication Studies


Keegan is on track to graduate from Vanderbilt with a degree in communication studies.

He has earned a spot on the Dean’s List once and SEC Academic Honor Roll twice.


Labeled as one of the most consistent people in the program by head coach Tim Corbin, Keegan is well-respected by his peers and has embraced a leadership role in his final season.


For four years, Keegan has volunteered in numerous initiatives along with his teammates.

Vanderbilt has partnered with Memories of Honor, a local non-profit organization who honors fallen service men and women. Keegan will honor Joshua Booth from Massachusetts, who passed away in 2006.


Keegan has been a member of two College World Series teams with Vanderbilt and won a title in 2019.

Last season, Keegan was named a second team All-American after finishing sixth in the SEC in SLG. He received the team’s Best Offensive Player Award as he led the Commodores in BA (.345). He also closed out the season with 15 home runs, earning his a spot on the ABCA All-District first team.

Keegan was selected by the New York Yankees in the 19th round of the 2021 MLB Draft but opted to return for his final season.
