Eli Brooks

General Studies

Brooks graduated from Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts this past May with a general studies degree.

He is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Michigan’s School of Social Work.

Brooks was given ‘The Professor’ as a nickname as he continues to set an example for his teammates. He was named a team captain for the Wolverines last season.

Brooks’ leadership during the pandemic was instrumental and he continues to provide in that role while guiding a team that has seven freshman.

Brooks has welcomed his role in the community at Ann Arbor. He continues to be available for any events that he can attend, whether they are community or fan related.

He often participates in reading programs, hospital visits, basketball camps, as well as both pregame and postgame interactions.

Brooks has had a career full of success at Michigan.

He has helped the Wolverines win both Big Ten regular season and tournament championships through his first four years. Michigan has recorded two 30+ win seasons and reached two NCAA Elite Eights, while also reaching one Final Four.

Brooks is on pace to become the program’s all-time leader in career wins, games played, and should also reach 1,000 career points.
