Classroom

Schlatter has committed herself to excellence not only on the court but in the classroom as well. She is majoring in both Physical Activity & Exercise and Community Health and has maintained a GPA above 3.8 through her time at Portland State. She has been named to the Big Sky Fall All-Academic team three times.

Character

Schlatter has taken her role as setter seriously on the court but it has moved off the court as well. She is the leader of the Portland State volleyball team. She leads by example and is the one that all newcomers to the team look to for guidance. She is one of the first to arrive and one of the last to leave giving everything that she has.

Community

Schlatter and her teammates have embraced their roles as student-athletes and have reached out into the community to help others. They are involved in multiple community service outreach events including the annual Portland Walk to Defeat ALS event every fall. Portland State student-athletes helped donate and deliver books to children as part of the National Read Across America day.

Competition

Schlatter is the only three-time All-Big Sky first team selection in Portland State history. She has been the starting setter for the Vikings since her freshman year. She has amassed 3,262 assists in her career and is fourth all-time at PSU. She has tallied 37 career double-doubles and one triple-double. She was named the Big Sky’s Outstanding Freshman her first year with the program.
