Classroom
Tasouris graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor’s degree in communications, carrying a 3.58 GPA. He was named an Academic All-WAC selection after the 2020-21.
Tasouris is currently pursuing a master’s degree in higher education.
Character
In only his first year at Portland, Tasouris is serving as a co-captain for the Pilots. He has shown himself to be an exemplary leader.
Community
Tasouris has embraced the Portland community in the short time he has been here. He thanks fans after each game, interacting with everyone that he can.
He has expressed a desire to continue working closely with the campus throughout his time here.
Competition
Tasouris, who was named the WAC Defensive Player of the Year with Grand Canyon last year, has enjoyed a stellar career so far. He was named a three-time All-WAC selection while at Grand Canyon and has already earned one WCC Defensive Player of the Week while at Portland.
In his freshman season, Tasouris ranked second in the nation in save percentage (.860).
Prior to the start of the 2021 season, Tasouris was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
