Wintermeyer earned his international business degree in December of 2020, carrying a 3.24 GPA. He earned Bradley Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice and Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll four times.

He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration.

Character

Wintermeyer, a team captain, opted to return to Bradley for the delayed season. He oversees a team that features 23 first and second-year student-athletes.

He is always available for media needs, showing a welcoming and respectful attitude.

Community

Wintermeyer and the Bradley team are active in the community, both throughout Peoria and the surrounding areas.

He has worked on campus as a driver for the Hilltop Safety Cruiser, providing shuttle service for students, faculty, and staff. It allows safe travel from place-to-place around the campus between 5:00 PM and 3:00 AM.

Competition

Wintermeyer is a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-West Region selection and three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference recipient. He earned All-MVC honorable mention honors in 2017, before earning first team honors in both 2018 and 2019. In 2018, Wintermeyer led the MVC with 20 points. He also scored nine of Bradley’s 17 goals in 2019, and his 32 shots on goal represented 42% of the team’s total.

He earned the College Soccer News National Player of the Week on Nov. 11, 2019, after netting two game winners that week.

Wintermeyer joined Bradley as a mid-year enrollee prior to the Spring of 2017, joining a team that went 2-15-3 in 2016. He helped Bradley earn the distinction of most-improved team in the nation by record in 2017, as well as producing winning records in each of his first three seasons.

He now ranks fourth in Bradley history with nine career game-winners and ninth all-time with both 23 career goals and 53 career points.
