Classroom

Dolcini has had tremendous success in the classroom, where she’s earned multiple Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-MW honors.

She owned a 3.94 GPA between UC Riverside and Fresno State while earning her bachelors degree in public health before transferring to Texas. Dolcini is now enrolled in the strategic communication program in Austin.

Character

Dolcini will be leaned on for her leadership as she enters her fifth season. Even though she transferred into the program this year, Dolcini has wasted no time settling in and is a highly-regarded teammate and student-athlete.

Community

Dolcini has been a vital member of her communities since her high school days. She was recognized in USA Today for starting “K’s for Kids Cancer,” which worked to raise and donate $10,000 to non-profit organizations.

At Fresno State, Dolcini worked with the Poverello House and the Marjaree Mason Center to help with the homeless outreach and support/empower those affected by domestic violence. This past Christmas, she also spent time writing holiday cards to the elderly and those living in a dementia-assisted living facility.

Competition

Dolcini had an incredible season last year—being named the MW Pitcher of the Year, a 2021 Softball America All-American, NFCA All-Pacific Region selection, and All-MW Conference honoree. She went 22-5 with a 1.12 ERA, 259 strikeouts through 180.2 innings, and led the nation in shutouts (14). Dolcini limited the opposition to a .175 batting average and posted 13 games of 10 or more strikeouts.
