Thompson carries a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA as a health science major.

In 2020-21, Thompson became the first in program history to be recognized as a CoSIDA Academic All-American, when she received third team honors.

Before Thompson arrived at Bradley, the program had collected only 35 conference wins from 2006-2017.

She has since helped the Braves record 40 conference wins during her three-plus years and is part of just the fourth senior class in school history to win 40 or more MVC contests. Thompson is a three-year team captain and helped lead the team to their first post-season appearance in program history.

Additionally, she has helped distribute food to people in need in the local community through Loaves and Fish Feeding Ministry, as well as helping with Bradley’s annual I-74 Challenge Blood Drive.

She is the first player in program history to receive All-Region honors (2020-21).Thompson is also a two-time All-Valley first team, three-time All-MVC, and 2018 MVC Freshman of the Year recipient.

Last year, she was the only player in the nation to average at least 3.50 kills and 4.90 digs per set.

In the first match of the season, Thompson broke the Bradley career digs record. She is now one of seven players in MVC history with 1,200 career kills and 1,600 or more digs and just the third since rally scoring was adopted.  This season, she is averaging 3.12 kills and 3.68 digs per set.  She currently ranks seventh in Bradley history in career kills.
