Last year, she was the only player in the nation to average at least 3.50 kills and 4.90 digs per set.

In the first match of the season, Thompson broke the Bradley career digs record. She is now one of seven players in MVC history with 1,200 career kills and 1,600 or more digs and just the third since rally scoring was adopted.  This season, she is averaging 3.12 kills and 3.68 digs per set.  She currently ranks seventh in Bradley history in career kills.
