Kametani boasts a nearly perfect 3.92 GPA as a multidisciplinary studies major.
Character
Kametani has proven to be a good teammate on and off the field.
Whether assisting teammates with studying or refining their skill, Kametani is there to help. He is often looked to in high pressure situations to help the team remain focused and calm.
Community
Kametani has assisted in several community service projects since joining the Mavericks.
Most recently, he joined his teammates in the first event since the pandemic started. He and his fellow Mavericks welcome nearly 100 underprivileged kids to the field for games and fun helping provide an escape.
Competition
Kametani was named Omaha’s first soccer All-American last season, earning third team honors. He was also named All-Region, All-Newcomer, All-Conference first team, and Summit League Newcomer of the Year.
Kametani tied the single-season scoring record with nine goals while also adding an assist on the year.
