Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in arts and digital film with an emphasis in screenwriting at Grand Canyon University. Transferring to Weber State as a graduate transfer in the summer of 2020, Brown is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in English at Weber State.
Brown carries a 3.57 cumulative GPA in his master’s program.
Character
Brown has proven leadership and high-quality traits during his time at Weber State, evidenced by his captaincy. Brown has been a leader for the team during social issues and has been vocal in support.
Community
Brown has joined the Weber State team in a variety of service and social activities. Along with other teammates and WSU athletes, Brown assisted Weber County during the November 2020 elections. Brown also ensured that all of his teammates were registered to vote.
Competition
Brown has been a leader for the Wildcats early in the 2020-21 season. Scoring 18.6 points per game, Brown led the Big Sky Conference in scoring early on and now ranks second. Brown has scored in double figures in the first seven games of the season and leads the conference in free throw percentage, while also ranking in the top ten in steals and assists.
In December, Brown scored a career-high 29 points in a win over Westminster. Brown has played in nearly 100 games in his career, including his time at Northwestern and Grand Canyon.
