Character
In just his first season at Presbyterian in 2021, Wyandt was named one of two team captains for the Blue Hose. He helped lead the team to a Big South Tournament Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
Now in his first season at Auburn, Wyandt is already a vocal leader behind the plate.
Community
Navigating the heart of the pandemic, Wyandt and Presbyterian still managed to participate in multiple community service projects. They read to elementary school students and conducted baseball clinics fro kids and adults with disabilities.
Competition
Wyandt has been able to match his success in the classroom with his play on the field. Last season, he was named to the Buster Posey Award Watch List and went on to earn a spot on the Big South second team and Big South All-Tournament Team.
He enters his final season with Auburn having played in 121 games between Hartford and Presbyterian.
