Jerel is on track to graduate this Spring with a degree in communication studies.
Community
Jerel participates in multiple community service activities, including Al’s Run/Walk for Children’s Hospital and Special Olympics. In addition, he serves as a summer Basketball Camp Counselor.
Competition
McNeal was tabbed 2008-09 Preseason First Team All-BIG EAST and is one of 30 midseason Wooden Award Candidates. During the 2007-08 season, Jerel was named Second Team All-BIG EAST after receiving the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year nod in 2006-07.
