Walker has been aptly recognized during his academic career. He was named to the 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic first team, 2019 Pac-12 Honor Roll, and is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree.

Over the summer of 2020, Walker served as a Global Retail Concepts Intern for Nike.

Character

Walker, a team captain, is also the President of the Oregon State Student Athlete Advisory Committee. He has helped spearhead the Dam Change campaign at Oregon State.

Community

Walker worked with Maddy Ellsworth, a fellow Oregon State student-athlete, to launch Dam Change. It’s a campaign designed to bring awareness regarding the issues of systemic racism in today’s society. It will educate, empower, and enhance the experience of Black student-athletes and staff.

Walker is the Oregon State Student Athlete Advisory Committee president for the 2020-21 year.

He has been an active member of the Dam Worth It campaign, which focuses on mental health.

In January of 2020, Walker attended the Black Student-Athlete Summit. He has also interned at the Grace City Church.

Competition

In 2019, Walker was selected to the All-Pac-12 first team. He started every game for the Beavers, tallying six goals and four assists.

In 2018, he made 16 starts, tallying two goals. Walker helped the Beavers earn an NCAA tournament birth, where they made it to the second round.

He played in 18 matches as a freshman.
