Julia Brown

William & Mary

Brown graduated last May, boasting a 3.87 GPA in biology.

She was named 2021 CoSIDA Academic All District and is a multiple time Provost Award, Dean’s List, and CAA Commissioner’s List selection.

Brown is now enrolled in the William & Mary MBA program.

Brown is a three-year team captain for the Tribe.

She was integral in leading the effort to reinstate the volleyball program after it was discontinued last fall. Brown is the model-student athlete in every sense of the word.

Since arriving at William & Mary, Brown has been active in the community.

Locally, she has worked with youth clubs and as both a coach and development trainer. In her home town of Geneva, Illinois, Brown has helped put together meals and disinfecting kits for the community during the pandemic.

She was also a vocal leader of the Black Lives Matter Peaceful Protests in Williamsburg last summer.

Brown is one of the most dominant players in William & Mary history.

She immediately made an impact for the program, earning a selection to the CAA All-Rookie Team. Brown is also a two-time CAA Player of the Week recipient and was named to the All-CAA first team last season.

She ranks in the top-five all-time at William & Mary in blocks, blocks per set, kills, and hitting percentage.
