Classroom
Danielson is a two-time member of the WAC all-academic team (2009, 2010), recognizing student-athletes with a minimum GPA of 3.0. She is also a two-time CoSIDA second-team academic All-American (2009, 2010).
Character
Coach Dave Shoji says, Kanani is an “upstanding individual both on and off the court. has demonstrated leadership qualities and her work ethic is second to none.”
Community
Danielson has participate in the following community service events: Manoa Makeover (UH campus cleanup), a reading workshop for students at Alii’Iolani Elementary, Kaneohe drug rehab clinic and the Hawaii Kai beach cleanup and Kaneohe beach cleanup.
Competition
Danielson is a three-time AVCA All-American (first-team in 2010, 2009 and third-team in 2008). She is a three-time AVCA all-region (first team in 2010, ‘09, and HM in 2008) and a three-time first team all-WAC selection. Danielson was the conference player of the year in 2009 and in 2010. In 2008, she was the WAC Freshman of the Year.
