Karlina Sample

Sample owns a 3.04 cumulative GPA during her tenure at Texas A&M.


Sample is in her second season serving as a team captain for the Aggies.

She co-founded the B.L.U.E.print, Black Leaders who Undertake Excellence. It is a Texas A&M student-athlete led organization that provides leadership opportunities and a sense of community while empowering Black individuals to use their voice. Sample is also in her second year serving as the President of the B.L.U.E.print.


Sample has spent two years working The Big Event, which is the largest one-day student-run serve project in the nation. She has also spent two years assisting with Erin’s Dream 5K.

Sample is entering her fourth year spearheading fundraising efforts for the Aggies’ ‘Turn it Gold’ match, a nonprofit organization united in the fight against childhood cancer.  They hope to bring awareness to all for a cure.


Last season, Sample was named the SEC Co-Defender of the Year, along with earning All-SEC first team recognition.

She was selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-American third team and United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region first team.

Sample has started every game the last two seasons, including playing in all nine shutouts last year as the Aggies advanced to the NCAA Elite 8.
