Kowalik carries an impressive 3.29 GPA as a double major in marketing and accounting at Kentucky.

Character

Kowalik, a leader both on and off the field, is a team captain for the Wildcats. She serves as a community leader for multiple social justice causes, including the advancement of human rights and racial relations in Lexington.

She is always one of the most popular players on the team with post-game autographs and interview requests.

Community

Kowalik is a true servant leader. She volunteers with the Special Olympics, God’s Pantry, and multiple other organizations.

She has helped pack lunches for those in underserved parts of the community and then delivered them to elementary schools. Kowalik is involved in several summer camps and was also a member of UK Athletics’ Social Justice in 2020.

Competition

Kowalik’s 2021 saw her aptly recognized as an NFCA first team All-American and second team All-SEC selection. She led the entire NCAA in batting average—a feat only nine other power five players have earned in the past 40 years.

Kowalik also holds school records for consecutive games with a hit (26), runs scored in a season (79), and hits in a season (100).
