Graduating cum laude in May of 2020 with her educational sciences degree, Lindaman was named a 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-American.

Over her career, she has earned numerous other academic awards including: 2020 SEC Academic Honor Roll, 2018 CoSIDA Academic All-American third-team, 2018 Academic All-Big Ten, 2017 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award, and 2017 NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete.

Character

Lindaman has been a leader for the Gators by the example she sets on and off the field. The talented senior does a great job with managing her time in the classroom, on the field and in the community, and her passion for the sport of softball along with the drive to compete has made a tremendous impact on every member on the team.

Florida head coach Tim Walton has described Lindaman as being in the top 1% as a person, student, and athlete. “She is an excellent hitter, competitor, student and teammate, and she will live a full life of excellence!”

Community

Since arriving in Gainesville, Lindaman has balanced her time to where she has been able to give back to the community. She has mentored kids at Williams Elementary School, where she assisted in classroom activities and had conversations with fifth graders about doing the right thing and how to balance competitiveness with showing good sportsmanship.

She has also made multiple visits to Shands Children’s Hospital to visit kids who are going through times, as well as playing kickball with Special Olympics Florida of Alachua County.

Competition

Lindaman has been considered a consistent force on the field since her freshmen season and has racked up multiple accolades up until now.

At the national level, she is a three-time NFCA All-American (‘17, ‘18 & ‘19) and earned 2019 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week honors. She was also a top-three finalist for the 2017 NFCA Freshman of the Year and appeared on USA Softball’s Player of the Year Top 50 “Watchlist” in both 2018 and 2020.

Lindaman is also a two-time Big Ten Player of the Year (‘17 & ‘18) recipient and was named the 2017 Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Over the past four seasons, she has also been named to the 2019 All-SEC first team, 2018 All-Big Ten first team, 2017 All-Big Ten first team, 2017 Big Ten All-Defensive Team and 2017 Big Ten All-Tournament Team, along with twice being named SEC Player of the Week.

Statistically, Lindaman enters 2021 as the NCAA active career leader in RBI and ranks among the top in home runs (2nd), walks (2nd), games played (3rd) and total bases (5th).
