Ahlander holds a 3.64 GPA while majoring in finance. He was named to the AAC All-Academic Team in 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21.
Character
Chosen as a team captain by his teammates in 2021, Ahlander embodies competitiveness while being respectful of his opponents.
He has a huge personality and lights up the locker room every time he walks in. Ahlander cares greatly about his teammates and is extremely responsible.
Community
While in Dallas, Ahlander has spent time volunteering with various soccer clinics and Habitat for Humanity. He is always happy to help those in need and assists with both the team’s and university’s efforts in the community.
Competition
Ahlander has totaled 35 points by way of eight goals and 19 assists in three and a half seasons.
In 2020-21, he was named the AAC Co-Midfielder of the Year and was selected to the All-AAC first team and AAC preseason all-conference team. In 2019, Ahlander was named to the All-East Region third team and All-ACC second team. He was also selected to the AAC All-Rookie Team in 2018.
