Smith, a leader for the Tigers, is a three-time team captain.
He was selected as a CB30 Award winner within the program, issued to a player who most exemplifies the qualities of the late Carl Beernink. Smith will do the right thing—even when it’s the hard thing.
Community
Smith has been an important part of Towson’s community efforts. He willingly participates in postgame autograph session and youth clinics.
Smith is vital to the team’s efforts with the HEADStrong Foundation’s Mustache Madness, helping families that are enduring pediatric cancer.
Competition
Smith has been one of the best defenders for the Tigers over the last five seasons. He is annually recognized as one of the best in the country, earning All-America and All-CAA recognition.
He has played in 52 career games and places inside the program’s top 10 for caused turnovers.
