Kori is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten Selection and was a 2014 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.  She was also an Academic All-America nominee, and boasts a 3.637 GPA as an advertising major.

Character

Kori is beginning her third season as a captain of the MSU volleyball team.  She is not only a standout leader on the court, but also is a charismatic leader off the court in gathering her teammates to participate in university and community events.

Community

Kori is very active not only in team outreach, but also is an active volunteer with several other community outreach programs.  She has volunteered for Chuck-a-Puck at hockey games, which raises money for children’s cancer initiatives, participated in Relay for Life and The Aitch Foundation Hidden Key Fashion Show, which also raises money for cancer research.  In addition, she has volunteered for countless activities that bring young fans to campus to meet our athletes.  With the MSU Volleyball team, she has annually participated in the EVE (End Violent Encounters) golf outing, and has also befriended a local girl that the team met through the Brandon’s Defense Foundation, which raises awareness and funding for research for Children’s Cancer treatments. She is also a big supporter of Mitchell’s Run, which raises money for the fight against Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy (founded by the family of a teammate).

Competition

Moster is the two-time defending Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in the Big Ten, arguably the top conference in the country for women’s volleyball.  She is also a two-time All-America selection.  She enters her senior season ranked 16th all-time in the Big Ten in career digs (1,668), and owns the MSU career mark (as well as three of the the top 10 single-season marks).  She is a unanimous preseason All-Big Ten pick in 2014, and earlier this summer toured China with the USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team.
