Classroom

Muller received his undergraduate degree in sport management from Rutgers in May of 2020. He is now on track to earn a master’s degree from the global sports business program, where he has maintained a 3.9 GPA, this May.

He is a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and received the 2020-21 Ron Kish Academic Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA on the team.

Character

Muller was Rutgers’ recipient of the 2021 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award. It recognized him for distinguished sportsmanship, ethical behavior, and good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.

Community

While at Rutgers, Muller has participated in numerous service projects. He has volunteered with the Tunnel to Towers 5K, read to preschool students, and took part in the multiple sclerosis walk at Veterans Park in 2019.

Competition

For his career, Muller has pitched in 47 games for the Scarlet Knights while appearing in a team-high 19 games last season.

Muller has recorded a 1.11 WHIP in 21.2 innings with 19 strikeouts and a .207 batting average against.
