“Kylee Hanson is a great pitcher and is very competitive; she is very focused and always just goes out and gets the job done. She is unbelievable and works very well with her other teammates. They all work together to improve each day.” - Head Coach Joan Joyce

As a member of the FAU softball team, Hanson has performed community service for a number of local organizations including Habitat for Humanity and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She also helps coach local youth softball players at several of the camps the team holds throughout the year.

Hanson began building her resume as one of the best pitchers in school history immediately upon her arrival, earning a 1.65 ERA and making the C-USA All-Freshman Team. In her sophomore season, she threw her first career no-hitter and made first-team All-Region while helping the Owls to their first NCAA regional in a decade. Last season, she threw two more no-hitters, led FAU to a sweep of the C-USA regular season and tournament titles, won C-USA tournament MVP and was named C-USA Female Athlete of the Year. She also earned second-team NFCA All-America honors while leading the nation with a 0.76 ERA.
