Roh is a two-time Raider Academic Honor Roll member and currently holds a 3.14 cumulative GPA. He is an economics major and notched a 3.25 term GPA during the 2014 spring semester. Colgate is one of the country’s top universities academically, and he has managed being an athlete with a rigorous course load. Roh already has potential jobs lined up post-graduation and has taken on more than one internship in his four years.

Character

Roh traveled halfway across the United States to get the best education he could, while also continuing to play the sport he’s always loved. He has helped out around the local community in more ways than one and has become very well-known around town. Roh is very soft-spoken and humble pushing the spotlight off of him and onto his team. He is the definition of what a team player and student-athlete should be.

Community

Since he first came to Colgate, Roh has been very involved with not only the Colgate community but also with the local Hamilton community, as well. He is the point person for the Raiders annual Alzheimer’s Awareness game and helps out with the team’s yearly basketball event called Shoot with the Raiders. Roh has been a member of Colgate’s Student Athletic Advisory Committee and is an advocate for athletes understanding what being a STUDENT-athlete means. Each year he continues to be a mentor for a young boy in the community in addition to helping out with Colgate’s Adopt a Classroom efforts. Roh is also a Bible study coordinator at Colgate.

Competition

Roh, a four-year player and three-year starter, has been a key contributor for the Raiders. He led the team in rebounding the last two seasons, while notching 5.5 boards per game a year ago. Roh has played in 93 games so far in his career, compiling 443 points, 478 rebounds and 254 assists. During his sophomore campaign, Roh recorded 111 season assists to place him tied for 10th in Colgate’s records book. He also currently sits 8th with 254 career assists. Roh is 40 boards away from breaking into Colgate’s career rebounding chart, as well.
