Classroom

Kingdon is a general studies major with a focus in sports management. She is on track to graduate in four years and has plans to pursue graduate school. She has successfully completed a internship with the communications office within the athletics department and was a big asset.

Character

Kingdon is the team captain and always conducts herself in a positive manner both on and off the court. After serving an internship for U of A Athletics in the communications office, she was very reliable at completing all tasks given to her. Kingdon is a perfect role model for not only potential volleyball players but for all young girls. She has a contagious personality that most everyone gravitates to.

Community

Kingdon has been involved heavily in the community as her and the Arizona volleyball team are one of the most heavily involved community groups in the athletics department. Kingdon has done several things in the community with most of her attention in helping young kids. She has attended several elementary schools and has read, tutored and mentored young kids. In addition, she has attended several Club Arizona events in which she has mentored young Arizona fans.

Competition

In 2014, Kingdon earned AVCA honorable mention All-America honors along with receiving AVCA All-West Region honors and First-Team All-Pac-12. She led the Pac-12 in points, while ranking fourth in the league in kills and fifth in service aces. She recorded 508 kills, which were the sixth most in Arizona history for a single season. Kingdon has been a star since her freshman season as she was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team and was Pac-12 honorable mention all-conference as a sophomore. Her name is all over the Arizona record books as she currently ranks sixth in school history with 1,309 career kills. She also ranks fourth in school history with 77 career 10+ kill matches and ranks fifth with 15 career 20+ kill matches. She also currently ranks third in kills per set and fourth in digs per set in program history. She is also a multi-sport athlete as she is on the brand new sand volleyball team. She was on the top-seeded Arizona team in its first year of existence last season.
