Majoring in English with a minor in marketing, Madysen Cossack holds a 3.05 cumulative GPA, earning a 3.4 term GPA for Fall 2018.


Currently in her second year as a team captain, Cossack is highly revered at Siena and shows respect and integrity in everything she does on and off the field.


Cossack led the team’s community service efforts last fall when they played softball with local girl scouts on six separate occasions in September and October 2018.


Cossack is a two-time All-MAAC First Team selection and was the MAAC Player of the Year in 2017. One of just three unanimous all-conference selections in 2018, she led the nation in doubles per game during the regular season, setting a new single-season mark in doubles (22) in the process. Cossack steadied the MAAC in slugging percentage (.723), while ranking second in total bases (594), third in batting average (.392) and fifth in hits (51) and on-base percentage (.459). In 2018, she became just the fifth player in program history to eclipse 100 RBI in a career. Cossack twice won MAAC Player of the week last season. Additionally, she was named to the ECAC Division I All-Star Team and the NFCA Great Lakes Region Third Team in 2017, and was on the MAAC All-Rookie squad in 2016.
