Community
Corboz started a non-profit called the Healthy HeartBeets that focuses on educating children from lower-income areas regarding healthy eating. It started as a means of providing information about affordable alternatives to fast food but eventually became a larger nutrition education program through which he went to different schools and talked to young children about what they typically eat and taught them about healthier alternatives to those specific products.
Competition
Corboz was a first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2014 after leading the Big Ten in goals scored (10). He was named the Big Ten Championship MVP after notching the game-winner against Indiana in the title game, and he led the Terps to both regular season and tournament titles in Maryland’s inaugural season in the Big Ten.
