Cella carries a 3.96 GPA as a psychology and social welfare double major.

Last season, Cella was named to the 2020-21 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America third team, one year after earning second team honors.

She has been recognized as a UW Athletic Board Scholar three times, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar three times, and Academic All-Big Ten member three times.

Character

Cella arrived at Wisconsin as a wide midfield substitute and is now a dominant holding midfielder, a huge factor in the team’s success. Even though she may be best known for her ability with the ball, Cella’s work off of it is just as important.

She has battled through multiple injuries in her career but refuses to let it affect her ability.

Community

Cella has volunteered with Badgers Give Back while at Wisconsin. She has also worked youth soccer clinics and visited patients at both children’s hospitals and senior centers.

Competition

Cella is a two-time first team All-Big Ten selection. She helped lead the Badgers to an undefeated run in conference play in 2019, in which the team won the Big Ten regular-season title and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16.

She also played every minute during Wisconsin’s 2020-21 season and led the team in assists, culminating in All-Big Ten first team honors.

For her Badgers career, Cella has played in 88 games with 67 starts. She has added three goals and 11 assists.
