Since arriving on campus, Wangenstein has been active in the community.
He has visited the Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital, as well as participated in Albany’s Cancer Foundation Fundraiser and Breast Cancer Walk.
Competition
In 2019, Wangenstein led the America East with 51 RBIs. He was named to the America East All-Conference second team for his efforts.
For his career at Albany, Wangenstein has appeared in 155 games with a .266 BA, .362 OBP, and .452 SLG. He has tallied 143 hits, 96 RBIs, 87 runs, 20 home runs, 20 doubles, and 10 triples. Wangenstein also has 21 stolen bases and a .985 fielding percentage.
