Meghan Kovac is a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for posting at least a 3.2 GPA during the competition season.
Character
Kovac is a team captain, president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and a member of the Bucknell Athletics Leadership Institute. During the multiple coaching changes during her career, she was tabbed as one of the leaders of the team by every coaching staff.
Community
Kovac is a member of the Community Conduct Board at Bucknell. She participates in numerous charitable events through SAAC and is a member of the Bucknell athletic director search committee.
Competition
Kovac is a two-time All-Patriot League selection, including first-team as a junior and second-team as a sophomore. In 2016 she was named a first-team ECAC All-Star. She is the school’s single-season record holder in doubles and ranks in the top 10 in program history in career batting average, home runs, doubles and RBIs. Entering her senior season, she needed just three RBIs to break the school’s career record. She is a two-time preseason All-Patriot League selection.
