Classroom
Kraus is a three-time honoree on the All-ACC Academic team. He is on track to graduate in May with a degree in economics and a minor in entrepreneurship. He boasts a 3.349 overall GPA through seven semesters of college.
Character
He is a two-time captain at UVA, as voted by his own peers. Kraus was the only junior captain on UVA’s 2019 NCAA title team. He makes the players around him better on and off the field as he leads by example.
Community
Kraus has been an integral member with Virginia’s community outreach efforts, including the Special Olympics 10k run and the Will Barrow (’08) Memorial Flag Football Tournament, the largest fundraiser for the University of Virginia Suicide Hotline. The tournament also raises money to fund college scholarships for the Harlem Lacrosse graduates. Last fall the tournament raised over $25K. He volunteers with the Salvation Army service in December.
Competition
Kraus is a three-time USILA All-American and a three-time All-ACC honoree. He needs three assists to become just the fourth Cavalier all-time with 100+ career goals and 100+ career assists. He would become just the 10th in ACC history to accomplish that feat. Kraus needs 56 points to break UVA’s career record for points.
