Michael Rexrode is an extremely good student in the School of Engineering where he holds a 3.78 cumulative GPA. He had a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester of his senior year.
Character
Rexrode is a two-time team captain and a leader in the locker room. He is an incredibly hard worker and a model student and example to his teammates.
Community
Rexrode is heavily involved in volunteering with Embrace Kinds and Athletes in Action. He has made visits to local hospitals and elementary schools to visit with kids and has helped raise money for the Coaches vs. Cancer Foundation.
Competition
Rexrode was named to the 2017 All-Big Ten First Team and named a third-team All-American by USILA and Inside Lacrosse. He led the Big Ten with 23 caused turnovers and 28 ground balls. He has started all of his career games for RU and is a two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week and Big Ten Preseason Honoree.
