Classroom

DenHartog has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA in her graduate program. She also boasted a 3.83 GPA while earning her undergraduate degree in communication studies last spring.

In her academic tenure, DenHartog has earned a spot on the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team and been honored as an NFCA/All-America Scholar-Athlete, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, and Academic All-Big Ten selection.

Community

DenHartog has volunteered with the MAGIC Program for two years, where she helps at holiday events for Christmas and Halloween. This program is geared towards events for children with major illnesses that were in and out of hospitals.

She also helps local families with childcare when back in her hometown of Hopkins, MN.

Competition

Heading into 2022, DenHartog was named the No. 41 ranked player in the nation by Extra Innings Softball. She earned this acclaim on the heels of a terrific junior season that saw her earn All-Big Ten first team and NFCA Great Lake Region second team honors. Starting all 44 games, DenHartog tallied a conference-best 15 home runs and .740 SLG.

She was selected to Softball America’s shortened season All-America first team as a sophomore and was a finalist for the 2019 NFCA Freshman of the Year.
