Classroom

Lennon, a double major in psychology (3.96 GPA) and economics, holds a 3.74 overall GPA. She was named to the 2019 C-USA All-Academic Team and is a three-time member of the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

She is also a two-time honoree of the Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Award.

Character

Lennon is constantly working to better herself. She is highly self-motivated and extremely hard working, which is evident in her play.

She is also extremely trustworthy, reliable, intelligent, thoughtful, and accountable - on a daily basis.

Community

Lennon has been very active in volunteer working during her career at Rice. She has volunteered with The FORGE for Families, Houston Food Bank, and is a Peer Wellbeing Athletic Advisor.

In addition to her volunteer work, Lennon also conducted research for her Senior Honors Thesis. She focused on disciplinary disparities in elementary school children due to differences in race, gender, and stereo-typicality.

Competition

Lennon, a two-time AVCA All-America honorable mention and the 2018 C-USA Player of the Year, will go down as one of the all-time Rice greats.

She has helped lead the Owls to the NCAA Tournament in consecutive years and a 2018 C-USA sweep of the regular season and tournament titles. A two-time C-USA All-Conference first team selection, Lennon enters the spring with 1,412 career kills.
