Saibene carries a 3.39 GPA while pursuing a degree in marketing management.
She posted a 3.50 GPA last fall and has also been named to the Horizon League Honor Roll twice
Character
One of the leaders for Youngstown State over the last few years, Saibene has been a vital member of the program. She lends guidance to the underclassmen and is universally admired for the work she puts in on the field.
Community
Participating with her teammates, Saibene has volunteered with the Park Vista Retirement Home, where she did pumpkin carving and butter churning.
She was also involved in Panerathon, a Youngstown, Ohio race/walk that raises money for breast cancer research.
Competition
Saibene became the first player in school history to earn NFCA All-Midwest Region first team honors last season. She was also named to the all-conference first team after batting .377 with 55 hits, 12 home runs, 26 runs scored, and 49 RBI. Saibene also started in all 51 games and tied the program’s single-season RBI record.
For her career, Saibene has totaled 25 home runs and 109 RBI. She shares the single-game program records for most hits (5), RBI (7), and doubles (3).
