Classroom

Hogan graduated in December of 2020, earning his degree in business analytics. Throughout his academic career, he has earned Dean’s List honors four times, Athletic Director’s List honors nine times, and earned C-USA Honor Roll all five years.

In 2019, Hogan was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-South Region first team. He is currently working on a graduate certificate in data science and business analytics.

Character

Hogan is a team captain for Charlotte.

Last spring, he was awarded the program’s David Schlee Award, which is given to the Charlotte 49ers men’s soccer player that is the hardest working, most dedicated, and has the greatest desire to succeed.

Community

During his time at Charlotte, Hogan has volunteered with multiple organizations.

They include: Miracle Network Dance Marathon, Autism Clinic, Second Harvest Food Bank, the Athletic Department’s Epilepsy Stroll, and numerous youth soccer camps and clinics.

Competition

In 2019, Hogan earned All-Conference USA first team and United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region second team honors. He was also named to the 2019 Conference USA All-Tournament Team.

He helped the Charlotte 49ers reach the second round of the NCAA tournament each of the last two seasons, also making appearances in three straight C-USA Tournament Championship games. Charlotte has earned a national ranking every year Hogan has been on the roster.

Prior to the start of the 2020-21 season, Hogan was named the preseason Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
