Lanchbury is a four-time Academic All-Southern Conference and four-time Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll selection at Richmond.

Character

Lanchbury, a team captain for the Spiders, elected to return for his extra year to finish what the program started.

He a member of both the Spider Athletics Leadership Champion Leader Group and Emerging Leader Group.

Community

Lanchbury, along with his teammates, is active in his involvement with Team IMPACT. He often engages with “teammate” Dylan Lipton-Lesser, who has been a member of the team for two years and was born 11 weeks premature.

Competition

Lanchbury burst onto the scene as a sophomore. He set multiple program records, including goals (52) and points (72), while ranking sixth in the country in goals and 14th in points. Lanchbury was named to the first team all-conference, SoCon All-Tournament Team, and was a USILA All-America honorable mention. He followed up that season with a great encore. Lanchbury finished the shortened season ranked second in the conference in assists (16) and third in points (30)—in just seven games.

Last season was Lanchbury’s best yet. He led the team and finished second in the SoCon in points (67), which ranked third all-time in program history. Lanchbury’s average of 39 assists and 5.15 points per game were a single season best for a Richmond Spider. He was named to Southern. Conference Offensive Player of the Year—the first in program history. Lanchbury was also named an all-conference first team selection and received All-America recognition once more.

Lanchbury owns the Richmond career-record for goals (126) and sits second in assists (95) and total points (221). He is only the second Spider to reach the 200-point mark. Heading into 2022, Lanchbury was named a preseason All-Southern Conference selection, Inside Lacrosse All-America honorable mention, and was selected to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List. He was selected second overall in the 2021 NLL Entry Draft by the Georgia Swarm.
