Jones, a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection, carries a 3.73 GPA as a chemistry major at Monmouth. Throughout her career, she has received numerous academic awards.

Last season, Jones was named to both the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America third team and All-East Region first team.

In 2019, she was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-East Region third team.

“Jones epitomizes the term student-athlete. She has had many amazing performances on the field while leading Monmouth to a number of wins. In the classroom, Jones is at the top of her class. She is a two-time captain and the manner in which she goes about her daily routine has set the tone for our program. Sarina Jones is a winner in all facets of her life.”

Community

Jones has participated in a number of community service initiatives throughout her career. They include: Adopt a Family, Read Across America, Big Brother Big Sister Holiday Party, Team IMPACT, Ronald McDonald House, Relay for Life, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and visiting the Schroth School.

Competition

Jones has had a decorated career on the field. Since arriving at Monmouth, she has helped the team win three MAAC regular season and tournament championships.

Last season, Jones was named the MAAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year and received her third consecutive All-MAAC Team honor. She was named to the first team in both 2018 and 2019.

En route to a 2017 MAAC title, she received the MAAC Championship Most Outstanding Player.

In her freshman season, Jones was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team.
