Sean Menges

Classroom

Menges owns a 3.14 GPA as an English major. He has been a three-year Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll selection and a two-time Southern Conference All-Academic selection.

Character

Menges is a team captain for the Richmond Spiders and is the face of the program. The Richmond native handles all promotional, media, and community activities for the team. He is a member of the Spider Leadership Initiative on campus and has made his way through the program into a team captain position.

Community

Menges works with Sportable Lacrosse, an adaptive sports club with a mission of creating opportunities and transforming lives of those with physical disabilities and visual impairments through sport.

Competition

Menges was named First Team All-Southern Conference last season as a junior and was named to the Southern Conference All-Tournament Team. He guided the Richmond Spiders to their second-straight SoCon Tournament Championship and appearance in the NCAA Tournament. A team captain, Menges led the team in both ground balls and caused turnovers. He recorded a career-high in both categories in an NCAA Tournament game against Duke. His play helped the Spiders finish the year ranked No. 18 in the country. Menges has been named Preseason All-Southern Conference this year and is a team captain.
