Fisher carries a 4.0 GPA as a double major in biology and chemistry, with an emphasis on biochemistry and animal studies. Earning Dean’s List honors every semester, she has the potential to be Radford’s valedictorian and Radford’s chemistry chair award.

She was selected to be a part of the next collegiate organic chemistry textbook and will cover three chapters in her writing.

Researching soil sample analysis and aquatic insect identification, Fisher presented at Radford University’s Winter Creative Activities and Research Days, and will be presenting again later in the year. She was also recently accepted into LSU’s veterinary school.

Character

Fisher is heavily involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Starting the FCA softball chapter at Radford, she is also a Huddle Leader for the Southeast FCA. For two summers, she has lead a high school softball team in Bible study for 3-4 days.

Fisher is also involved in the Chemistry club at Radford and was voted biggest contributor/hardest worker by her teammates two years ago.

Community

Fisher gives softball lessons to high school students when home and also works camps at Radford, which range from from all ages.

Spending almost four years as a vet technician, Fisher has spent time doing dog supply drive, where she donated dog food during the winter when people were in need of food for their pets.

She is also certified in laser and radiography.

Competition

Throughout her two seasons at Radford, Fisher has 106 hits and and 52 runs. Drawing 24 walks and striking out only 26 times in her career, she is on pace to have the highest career batting average in Radford program history.

Fisher’s has two top 10 finishes in single-season batting average. Her 82 hits in 2019 rank third in a single-season at Radford, just 11 shy of breaking the record. She holds the program record in both single-game hits (5) and longest hitting streak (19).

In 2019, she was named to both the All-Conference and All-Tournament team.
