Tabitha Tindell has been named to the ASUN All-Academic Team twice during her time at FGCU. She currently holds a 3.32 GPA. During her three years, Tindell has been named to the dean’s list three times, the AD Honor Roll five times and was invited to the Spring 2015 Academic Honors Luncheon.

Character

Tindell is a lead-by-example teammate and strives to help everyone around her achieve their fullest potential. She is a captain both on and off the field, leading all warm-ups while helping her team win spirit awards on campus by actively supporting other FGCU programs.

Community

Tindell recorded 111 community service hours between her sophomore and junior seasons. Notably, Tindell has participated in the Hunger Walk, volunteered at Metcalfe Elementary, Naples Fire Clinic and is a consistent face at all FGCU events volunteering for game day set up as well as FGCU’s biggest events of the year (Night at the Nest and Eagle Revolution).

Competition

Tindell is FGCU’s all-time leading goal scorer and is one of only five active players with 30 goals and 20 assists. She’s second among all active players with 140 points. Tabby has scored 27 game-winning goals, holding both the FGCU and Atlantic Sun record in that category. In total, Tindell has scored 58 goals and tallied 24 assists for 140 points. Tindell is a two-time ASUN Player of the Year, 11-time Player of the Week, and a two-time NSCAA Southeast Region Second-Team Selection. Finally, Tindell has been crucial to FGCU’s success, notably, the Eagles six-straight ASUN regular season titles and four NCAA appearances in five years.
