Lingner maintains a 3.29 GPA as a business technology major at UMBC.

He has been named to the America East Winter-Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll twice.

Character

Lingner was named a co-captain for the Retriever’s heading into the 2021-22 year.

Community

Lingner has participated in multiple community initiatives while at UMBC.

In 2018, he coached the Harlem Lacrosse program, helping teach and spread the sport. Lingner also volunteered to help manufacture and distribute face shields and coverings to essential works and hospitals during the heart of the pandemic last year.

Competition

Lingner was named to the 2021 America East second team after leading the conference and finishing sixth in the nation with a 9.18 GAA. He also set personal single-season records for wins (8), saves (118), and minutes played (686:22) while starting all 11 games.

In 2018, Lingner was named to the America East All-Rookie Team after leading the nation in goals against average (7.33).

Lingner ranks seventh on UMBC’s all-time list in saves with 370.
