Travis Bader

Travis graduated in 3 years with his undergrad degree in communications. He is currently earning his master’s degree in communications. Bader is a three-time Academic All-Summit League selection and Two-Time D-IAAA Scholar-Athlete. He is also a multiple selection to The Summit League Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.

Travis continues to be one of the hardest workers on the men’s basketball team both in and out of the classroom. He works just as hard in the community and knows the importance of life after basketball. Travis represents the best we have to offer at Oakland University. He is the role model for Oakland student-athletes.

Travis continues to be very active in the community. He serves as a reading tutor at local schools Michigan Technical Academy, Oak Prep Academy, Pontiac Middle School, and Brewster Elementary School. He has also participated in Field Days at McGregor, Rogers Elementary School, and Walton Charter Elementary School. Travis also spent time teaching basketball drills at Rogers Elementary, at the Christ Child Event and at the McGregor Carnival. He serves as a mentor to all local elementary schools and spends time after games signing autographs on every night.
