Frazier has had an academic career filled with adversity but he has stayed true to his goal of earning his degree.

He returned for his fifth season to complete his degree and is motivated to become the first in his family to graduate. Frazier realizes that his opportunity to finish this journey will help him long after his playing days are over.

Character

Frazier is considered to be the heart and soul of the Fighting Illini. He has been a part of the program’s rebuild from the beginning, which culminated in Illinois winning the 2021 Big Ten Tournament and earning a No. 1 Seed in the NCAA Tournament last season.

In his time at Illinois, Frazier’s role has evolved. He came to school known as a scorer and his since developed into one of the top defensive guards in the country. He is well respected by all in the program for his will to do whatever is asked of him.

Community

Frazier has volunteered with multiple initiatives in Champaign. He has been a counselor and coach at summer basketball camps, made school visits, and held autograph sessions.

He has also volunteered at the Carle Hospital and with the local Make-A-Wish Walk

Competition

Frazier’s career with Illinois has been one for the record books so far.

He was named to the 2021 Big Ten All-Defensive Team and is a three-time All-Big Ten Honorable Mention. Frazier was also named to the 2018 Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

Entering his senior year, Frazier sits near the top of the Fighting Illini leaderboards in multiple categories, as well. He ranks fourth in three-pointers made (247), seventh in steals (166), and 19th in career points (1,434).
